Hello!

My name is Marc. I live in Lebanon, TN in the USA. I grew up on a row crop/beef cattle farm in south Georgia, USA. I was active in 4-H and FFA (Future Farmers of America). These are agriculture based clubs that we had in school. I have always felt a connection to the land, no matter where I have lived. I believe that our food is indeed our medicine.

A few years ago we moved to where we live now on an acre. I have gardened my whole life. My plan is to expand my garden into a market garden.

Well, actually, I want to expand my garden into “The Marc-It Garden”. (See what I did there? 😉)

The Marc-It Garden's Mission Statement

To provide nutritious, safe, organic food for our family, friends, and community. This will enable us to live out our lives happy, healthy, and whole, in body, spirit, and soul.

The Marc-It Garden Top 5 Goals

1 - This first year is to learn, prepare, and have our farm operational as we go into 2025.

2 - Some time this year I plan to quit my day job and focus on our farm full time. (I pastor a church full time here where we run an addiction recovery program. My “day job” is really my part-time job although I work it full time.)

3 - To provide nutritious, safe, organic food for our family, friends, and community.

4 - To use our farm to give those bound by addiction a new purpose for their life. This will allow us to not only heal our land, but also our fellow man. (We run a 20 week recovery program at our church.)

5 - To live out the rest our our days happy, healthy, and whole in body, spirit, and soul.
